To wish is to hope & to hope is to expect !!

They say…

" Always hope, but never expect ! "

Oh.. let me clear you,

" To hope & To expect both are different ! "

If tomorrow is my result. And I expect that I'll top the exam so if it'll not be as I have expected then… I'll be disappointed.

Right?

& If I'll hope that I should top the exam then it means I am wishing for that.

So, Hope is close to expect but hope involves emotions whereas expecting something is a mental process..!!

Hope keeps us going… it helps us to grow !

But expecting something can be frustrating if it doesn't come true.

Hence…

Expectations leads to disappointment as you are sure of its happening.

& Hope is like faith.

They always say …

" Expectations hurt..! "

But actually …

" Expectations never hurt if you expect from the right person ! "

In our life...we are surrounded with many, different types of people.

We have lots of friends & of different types.

As I have observed in general…

We have 3 types of friends in our life :

  • Hie - Bye wale friends !

  • Thode time ki dosti aur apun dono bestie type of friends !

  • Friends since years - BFF's !

So now …

If you'll expect something from your those

"Hie - Bye wale friends…"

You'll get hurt or may be not !

You know why..?

Because both of you don't have that bonding which two close people have.

So in case if they'll fulfill your expectations there can be two reasons …

Whether you are important to them or else if they'll feel pity for you !

Also…

If you'll expect from those few days wale friends who u think has become your best friends

i.e "Thode time ki dosti aur apun dono bestie type of friends !..."

There will also be possibilities of you to get hurt because it again depends on the bonding you have with them & what they feel for you !

Because if you feel something for someone that doesn't mean they should also feel the same for you..right?

So again if you'll expect from those type of people from your life there will also be chances of you getting hurt & disappointment.

And...

If you'll expect from those who are your best friends since years & who've always been there for you in your ups & downs. When you needed them or even when you haven't…

They have been with you as your family.

So if you'll expect anything from them they'll fulfill your expectations because your are important to them. They care for you...love you & never want to loose you !

That is why they have been with you since years.

So my friend ;

You have to decide …

Who is in your life & for what purpose.

You have to place people by knowing their importance in your life!

& then you'll get to know…

" Expectations never hurt…
Expecting from the wrong person hurts ! "

Also remember…

" Give generously & Take graciously ! "

Because these two things are important !

When you give & not take or not get anything in

return then that means you are giving chance to others to use you & there you'll loose your importance. Those people will use you and after some time they'll left you & you'll get hurt.

&

Even when you'll only take then that means you are using someone for you & that's not good to hurt someone.

So always remember...

"To give & To take both are important for a good relation !! "

Surround yourself with good people who'll help you to grow & for whom you are also that important as they are to you !!

Never use someone or

Never let someone use you !

"Expect but from only those who deserve you!!"
